Member's Dinners
The long awaited dinner with Gregg Wallace at his restaurant Wallace & Co. located in Putney at 146 Upper Richmond Road, SW15 2SW was successfully held on Monday 30th January 2012.
Gregg's diary has become ridiculous these days and finding a "slot" had proved far harder than we originally anticipated but I hope you agree it was worth the wait.
Gregg proved himself a real character and answered many questions about him and the very successful MasterChef series.
The food at Wallace & Co was excellent with most of the produce grown at Secrett’s Farm in Surrey, where Gregg's restaurant supply business Secrett’s Direct is based. They also stock a small selection of that produce in the café – whatever is great at the time.

Whilst on the MasterChef theme, we are also holding a special exclusive dinner for BBA members where the 2006 MasterChef winner, Peter Bayless, will prepare and cook a dinner especially for us. Date fixed for Thursday 27th September. Price and menu to be advised.
Before that on 31st May, we will be inviting a small party from the BBA to attend a magificent black tie dinner at the prestigious Mansion House in the company of the Lord Mayor, David Wootton. Price will be £115 per person.
Finally we intend to hold a dinner in the House of Commons or Lords this year for BBA members and their guests as that seemed to prove very popular last time. Watch this space for further details for all these events.
